Our Story
Mint Leaf Designs is a Mumbai-based, full-service interior design studio with a portfolio spanning residential, commercial and healthcare projects across India. The studio is distinguished by its ability to operate at scale while retaining the attentiveness, control, and accountability of a boutique practice.
Founded in 2005 by Mamta Naik, the studio is led by a trained artist who studied interior design in both India and the United States. Mamta gained early professional experience with award-winning architectural firms such as Ewing & Cole in Philadelphia and Shashi Prabhu & Associates in Mumbai, before establishing her own practice. Her early work in complex environments shaped her belief that interior design demands specialised training, rigour, and empathy
Alongside her design practice, Mamta is a passionate educator, bringing over a decade of teaching and mentoring experience at the Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design, Mumbai.
